 WHERE TO EAT

Cantinho da Adanaia

Set in a large, landscaped square in Alverca do Ribatejo, Cantinho da Adanaia doesn't just impress with its attentive service. The restaurant needs no introduction to lovers of superbly cooked cod, but that's not all: a meal of Coelho à Caçador (Hunter-style rabbit stew) or Polvo à Lagareiro (Lagareiro-style octopus), washed down with a wine from the excellent list and topped off with the house's appetising farófias, guarantees satisfaction for the most demanding customer.
