The lands of Zibreira are part of the Oeste region of Portugal, located between the Atlantic Ocean and the Serra de Montejunto, in the Lisbon district, one of the largest wine producing regions in the country and one of its most extensive wine areas. In the Quinta da Boa Esperança cellars, dedication to viticulture and wine production has been carried out for over a hundred years by local people who know it and love it.
Amidst the sunny cradle of valleys and slopes cut by vineyards and fruit trees, Quinta da Boa Esperança is based on a concept of sustainable vineyards, committing itself to guaranteeing their well-being, as well as to the protection of the soil and water. The excellence of its grapes comes from an attentive and careful dedication to the vineyards throughout the year, culminating in the commitment to a manual harvest.
In tune with nature and ancient knowledge, Quinta da Boa Esperança has managed to create a genuine wine that transports us back to an age-old experience: Quinta da Boa Esperança – Colheita Tinto, produced from the Aragonez, Castelão and Syrah grape varieties. It has an intense garnet colour, with a dominant aroma of red fruits, well balanced, with notes of black fruit and spices, good structure and intensity, and a long and pleasant finish.
